The Care House Board of Directors recognize that we live in extremely challenging times. Professional and personal obligations fill our days and leave us very little time to devote to charitable causes, worthy though they may be.
The Care House Board of Trustees has been structured to allow members to be an important and integral part of the Care House team without requiring a large time commitment. Members of the Board of Trustees are not required to attend Board meetings, although they are welcome to attend if they like. They may choose to play as active a role as they would like, such as serving on a Care House committee, assisting with fundraisers, speaking engagements or special projects, etc. The intent is to recognize that in the real world, individuals want to be connected to a genuinely important cause but may not have the time to commit to regular meetings or take on major responsibilities. The Care House Board of Trustees is also a great way to gradually step into a more meaningful role with our agency in the future.
An individual or organization may become a member of the Care House Board of Trustees by contributing a minimum of $150.00 per year. Funding from the Board of Trustees will be used to fund activities which support the ongoing mission and operation of Care House.
